Reference frames and HACCP
The HACCP returned in several reference frames deprived like guarantees security management of food.
Most known are the reference frames IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium).
These reference frames correspond to schedules of conditions that the manufacturers and suppliers of foodstuffs for the great distribution must respect.
The IFS relates to the great Franco-German distribution, the BRC as for him is reserved for the great Anglo-Saxon distribution.
Other reference frames were created around the HACCP:
- CCvD-HACCP (Centraal College van Deskundigen HACCP), Dutch reference frame having allowed the first certifications HACCP by an accredited organization.
- the SQF (Safe Quality Food), of Australian origin, is a system of management of quality and safety of food developed by an American private organization, Food Marketing Institute (IMF).
